Barry Rock is Director of Total Rewards at Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan. Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan is a non-profit managed care organization committed to providing the highest quality healthcare coverage to underserved populations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Barry is responsible for overall strategy, administration, and implementation of employee benefits, payroll, wellness, and HR systems. Previous to his current role as Director of Total Rewards he was the Director of Talent Management leading talent acquisition, and Human Resources Business Partnership. Barry’s Human Resources career spans over twenty years holding various positions at OneBeacon Insurance, Delta Dental Plan of Massachusetts, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (formerly Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maine). Barry holds his undergraduate degree in Marketing/Management from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine and a Master of Science in Human Resources from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Chris Salamanis, Director of Learning and Development for Boston based Beacon Communities is a 27-year veteran of the property management industry. Using her extensive experience, Chris creates, promotes, and delivers training solutions that enhance teams across every organizational level. Chris is passionate about fostering an interactive and enjoyable business environment that supports learning. Over the past 17 years Chris has been dedicated to providing education within the property management field. While at Beacon Communities Chris has delivered successful programs in management development, team building, diversity, communications, customer service, sales, wellness and a host of other topics. Through her development and engaging execution of training courses, she helped turn the vision of “Beacon University” into a reality for her company. Chris has served on both The Chicagoland Apartment Association and RHA Education Committees while also having taught both CAM and NALP courses. She holds her ARM and CPM designations with the Institute of Real Estate Management, and holds certifications in Franklin Covey’s Time Management and Project Management courses as well as Creative Leadership including: MBTI, Firo-B and the Spectrum CPI 260. When not enriching the minds of fellow team members, Chris enjoys being a shopaholic, obeying her Fitbit, and catching the latest action film at the theatre.
